Thirty guests is roughly twice what the largest phinisi carries. A milestone birthday, three families travelling together, a company taking its senior team somewhere they cannot get a phone signal: these are the charters she exists for, and there are few alternatives in Indonesian waters.

She ranges further than most, too. Her grounds run from Bali east to Komodo and the dragons, on to the soft-coral walls of Raja Ampat, and into the Banda Sea for the volcanic Spice Islands — a crossing that needs range and a hull built for open water rather than a sheltered anchorage.

On board: a pool, a spa, a sky-lounge bar, more than one dining venue, and a dive and watersports deck sized for a full complement of guests rather than a handful. With thirty aboard, that last detail is what decides whether a morning dive takes twenty minutes or two hours.
