Majik is an 8-guest phinisi with 4 cabins — boutique Indonesian luxury charters.
Majik was built at the boatyard in Bira, in Sulawesi, for an Italian and French couple who left a French ski resort in 2021 to build a phinisi and now run her themselves; she was completed in 2022. She is a two-masted phinisi with 500 m² of sail, 42 metres overall and 35 metres on deck, with a 7.5-metre beam, a 2.2-metre draught, an ironwood and teak superstructure and a 360 hp Doosan engine that gives up to eight knots.
All four cabins are on the lower deck and take eight guests, with a crew of 11 including a cruise director. The 41 m² Master Deluxe at the stern opens onto the swimming platform, and the 33 m² Master forward repeats its layout, each with an Australian king bed and a sofa that sleeps a child; the two 18 m² Deluxe cabins midships have king beds that convert to twins. The chef cooks fusion dishes in an open galley and bar, and meals run to five a day, starting with two breakfasts.
She is equipped for diving, with two Coltri nitrox compressors, two five-metre RHIBs, a camera desk on the main deck and one guide to every four or five divers; her 2026 rates include nitrox, dive gear other than computers, a 45-minute massage per guest and marine park fees. She is sold as a private charter for up to eight or cabin by cabin on scheduled trips; her 2026 calendar has Raja Ampat from Sorong in March and April and Komodo from Labuan Bajo from May, with a Komodo–Sumbawa round trip in June.

No printed card. Tell the chef one thing you love and one thing you hate. The rest is a kitchen, not a kitchen of compromise.
The famous sites are famous for a reason. The quiet ones are why you charter privately. We plan for both.
Charters are not booked through an app. Your concierge holds the dates, the captain confirms the route, and we send the file.
Majik sails 3 distinct cruising grounds across the year. Each charter follows one ground, chosen by season — you don't cover them all in a single voyage.
Availability is confirmed personally with the captain. Share the dates you have in mind and your concierge replies — usually within a few hours, day or night.
We never show a date as free until the captain confirms it.
Our concierge AI drafts itineraries against the live fleet — compare Majik with similar vessels, score the season, or sketch a week day-by-day. The concierge confirms anything you tentatively pin in under 24 hours.
Send your dates and the brief — we hold them while the captain confirms the route. No card is taken at this stage. A signed charter agreement and a deposit — set by each vessel and confirmed in your proposal — confirm the booking; the balance is due before embarkation, per your charter agreement.
Fuel surcharge for the actual passage, port fees, food and beverage, marina dues, ground transfers, and travel insurance. We quote APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance) up front so there are no surprises.
Yes. The route is a starting point — the captain runs the final call based on weather, your party's appetite, and what the season is doing. Most guests change something on day three.
Majik carries up to 8 guests across 4 cabins. Smaller parties get more space; larger ones still get a private charter.
