Leyla is a 10-guest phinisi with 4 cabins — Komodo and Raja Ampat expeditions.
Leyla is a traditionally built two-masted phinisi, launched in December 2018 by PT Dreamboat Sukses Jaya; her maiden voyage took her from Tanjung Bira in South Sulawesi to Waisai in Raja Ampat, where she began her first trip. Her operator describes the builders as professionals who had spent almost a decade supervising the construction of wooden charter vessels in Indonesia. She is 33 metres overall, 25 metres on deck and 7 metres in the beam, with a 285-hp Doosan diesel, two Yanmar generators and a watermaker.
Four cabins below deck take ten guests, looked after by nine crew and a cruise director. The forward cabin, Sea Star, is 20 square metres with a queen bed and room for a family of four; Dolphin and Fish have a queen and a single each, and Seahorse a queen. Inside is an air-conditioned lounge, the main dining table is aft in the open air, and a shaded upper deck sits on top. The kitchen blends Indonesian herbs and spices with a Mediterranean influence, and breakfast is a buffet served after the first activity of the day.
She was set up for divers, with a soundproofed compressor room in the bow, separate rinse tanks for dive and camera gear, and two tenders, a 6-metre fibreglass boat and a 4.5-metre RIB. Her operator’s published programme was three dives a day, night dives included, always with one of the boat’s guides. Her Instagram account now lists Labuan Bajo and Raja Ampat and offers private charters and open trips.
This is the rate we hold on file for her. Your final price depends on your dates, route and length of charter, and is confirmed in writing before any payment.
10 hands who run the season, not the season's first charter. They know the bays you haven't asked about yet.
No printed card. Tell the chef one thing you love and one thing you hate. The rest is a kitchen, not a kitchen of compromise.
The famous sites are famous for a reason. The quiet ones are why you charter privately. We plan for both.
Charters are not booked through an app. Your concierge holds the dates, the captain confirms the route, and we send the file.
Leyla sails 2 distinct cruising grounds across the year. Each charter follows one ground, chosen by season — you don't cover them all in a single voyage.
Availability is confirmed personally with the captain. Share the dates you have in mind and your concierge replies — usually within a few hours, day or night.
We never show a date as free until the captain confirms it.
Our concierge AI drafts itineraries against the live fleet — compare Leyla with similar vessels, score the season, or sketch a week day-by-day. The concierge confirms anything you tentatively pin in under 24 hours.
Send your dates and the brief — we hold them while the captain confirms the route. No card is taken at this stage. A signed charter agreement and a deposit — set by each vessel and confirmed in your proposal — confirm the booking; the balance is due before embarkation, per your charter agreement.
Fuel surcharge for the actual passage, port fees, food and beverage, marina dues, ground transfers, and travel insurance. We quote APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance) up front so there are no surprises.
Yes. The route is a starting point — the captain runs the final call based on weather, your party's appetite, and what the season is doing. Most guests change something on day three.
Leyla carries up to 10 guests across 4 cabins. Smaller parties get more space; larger ones still get a private charter.
Tell us the dates, the party and the brief — our desk drafts a route and the captain confirms. Answered within a few hours during Bali office hours — in English or Bahasa. No charge until you confirm.
