The vessel
At 65 metres, Lamima is among the largest wooden sailing yachts in the world — a classic phinisi reimagined with contemporary innovation for 14 guests across a grand master suite and six air-conditioned cabins. A Lamima yacht charter ranges further than most: Komodo and the Banda Sea, the soft-coral reefs of Raja Ampat, and the rarely-cruised Mergui Archipelago, with a full dive operation, watersports and a private chef aboard.
Her operator publishes her rate two seasons out: USD 27,000 a night in 2026 and USD 28,000 in 2027, each plus 11% VAT, for the whole vessel and up to fourteen guests. Fourteen guests to a crew of eighteen is more than one crew member each.
What she carries is her own list rather than a class of boat’s: three tenders, jet skis, diving with nitrox, a lounge bar, a spa room, a yoga deck, watersports and WiFi.
Her range is among the widest of the large phinisi — Komodo, the Banda Sea, Raja Ampat and, in its season, the Mergui Archipelago. Komodo sails strongly from April to October, and many vessels work it year-round; Raja Ampat is at its best from October to April, usually as a 10–14 night voyage from Sorong; and the Banda Sea opens only in October–November and again in April–May.

Charter questions
How do I confirm a charter?
Send your dates and the brief — we hold them while the captain confirms the route. No card is taken at this stage. A signed charter agreement and a deposit — set by each vessel and confirmed in your proposal — confirm the booking; the balance is due before embarkation, per your charter agreement.
What is not included?
Fuel surcharge for the actual passage, port fees, food and beverage, marina dues, ground transfers, and travel insurance. We quote APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance) up front so there are no surprises.
Can the itinerary be changed?
Yes. The route is a starting point — the captain runs the final call based on weather, your party's appetite, and what the season is doing. Most guests change something on day three.
How big should our party be?
Lamima carries up to 14 guests across 7 cabins. Smaller parties get more space; larger ones still get a private charter.
