Aliikai is a 41-metre ironwood phinisi rebuilt in Bulukumba, South Sulawesi, between 2019 and 2021: seven cabins for up to fifteen guests on a private charter, a crew of fourteen and a dive deck with nitrox.
Aliikai is a 41-metre wooden yacht with an ironwood hull, credited in her brochure to the builder Haji Wahab and rebuilt between 2019 and 2021 by more than a dozen carpenters in Bulukumba, South Sulawesi — ‘a reinvention’, in her operator’s word. The refit gave her seven cabins over three decks, an air-conditioned lounge and dining room with wrap-around windows, folding glass doors to a covered outdoor dining deck, and an upper-deck lounge used for yoga in the morning and as an open-air cinema at night.
Two owner’s cabins sit at the stern with king beds and private terraces: Kei on the upper deck and Fam on the main deck. Koon and Savu, also on the upper deck, have ocean-view windows; Dayak and Abui, on the lower deck, have portholes; and Asmat, the family cabin in the bow, adds a sofa bed. All have en-suite bathrooms and air conditioning, and the beds in the owner’s and window cabins convert to twins on request. Pieces collected on earlier voyages decorate the boat.
A crew of fourteen includes PADI divemasters, and the dive deck has its own shower and a ventilated camera room; she carries nitrox, tenders of 6 and 5.5 metres, two tandem kayaks, four paddleboards, water skis and surfboards, and a licensed therapist gives Balinese massages on private charters. She is sold both ways. In 2026 the private rate is USD 10,500 a night plus 11% tax for up to fifteen guests; shared departures, priced per person, follow a circuit of Raja Ampat from November to early April, Komodo from late May to September and the Spice Islands in October.

The famous sites are famous for a reason. The quiet ones are why you charter privately. We plan for both.
Charters are not booked through an app. Your concierge holds the dates, the captain confirms the route, and we send the file.
Aliikai sails 3 distinct cruising grounds across the year. Each charter follows one ground, chosen by season — you don't cover them all in a single voyage.
Availability is confirmed personally with the captain. Share the dates you have in mind and your concierge replies — usually within a few hours, day or night.
We never show a date as free until the captain confirms it.
Our concierge AI drafts itineraries against the live fleet — compare Aliikai with similar vessels, score the season, or sketch a week day-by-day. The concierge confirms anything you tentatively pin in under 24 hours.
Send your dates and the brief — we hold them while the captain confirms the route. No card is taken at this stage. A signed charter agreement and a deposit — set by each vessel and confirmed in your proposal — confirm the booking; the balance is due before embarkation, per your charter agreement.
Fuel surcharge for the actual passage, port fees, food and beverage, marina dues, ground transfers, and travel insurance. We quote APA (Advance Provisioning Allowance) up front so there are no surprises.
Yes. The route is a starting point — the captain runs the final call based on weather, your party's appetite, and what the season is doing. Most guests change something on day three.
Aliikai carries up to 15 guests across 7 cabins. Smaller parties get more space; larger ones still get a private charter.
