Best Time to Visit
April to October (dry season). Peak conditions in July and August with calm seas and clear skies. The shoulder months of April-May and September-October offer fewer crowds with excellent weather.
Climate
Tropical with two distinct seasons. Dry season (April-October) sees temperatures of 27-30°C with low humidity. Wet season (November-March) brings afternoon showers and warmer waters, ideal for snorkeling.
Transfers
Private car transfer from the airport to Benoa Harbour or Serangan Marina takes approximately 20-30 minutes. Helicopter transfers can be arranged to your yacht for a premium arrival experience.
Entry Requirements
Most nationalities receive visa-free entry for 30 days or a Visa on Arrival (VOA) for 30 days (extendable). A valid passport with at least 6 months validity is required. Indonesia also requires international visitors to have proof of onward travel.

Tipping
10% service charge is common at restaurants. Tipping crew on your yacht charter is customary at 5-10% of the charter fee.
Safety
Bali is generally very safe. Be mindful of strong currents when swimming. Stay hydrated and use reef-safe sunscreen. Respect temple dress codes (sarong and sash required).
